Cookie policy

Last updated September 2026

When you first visit SaveForMeNow we ask which cookies you allow. You can change your choice at any time with the link at the bottom of every page.

Essential storage (always on)

We save your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on every page. The link shortener also saves your list of recent short links there so you can find them again. This stays on your device, and you can clear it by clearing this site's data in your browser.

We count page views and tool use anonymously without cookies; see the privacy policy for details. Your browser may cache the site and the video converter so pages load faster next time.

Analytics cookies (only if you agree)

If you choose "Accept all" or switch on Analytics in the cookie settings, we load Google Analytics. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…, kept for up to 2 years) to count visits and show which pages and tools are used, which country visitors come from and what device they use. Google Analytics never receives your files or anything you type into a tool. If you don't agree, Google Analytics isn't loaded at all.

We also use Google Tag Manager to manage these scripts. Tag Manager itself doesn't set cookies. It starts in a mode where analytics and advertising storage are switched off, and the tags in it only use cookies after you allow them.

Advertising cookies (only if you agree)

If we show ads, advertising partners may use cookies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and, where you allow it, personalise them. These cookies are only used if you choose "Accept all" or switch on Advertising in the cookie settings. If you choose "Reject all", only essential storage is used and no analytics or advertising cookies are set.

At the moment SaveForMeNow doesn't show ads, so no advertising cookies are set. We'll update this page with the names of our advertising partners before any ads appear.
