Copyright & DMCA Policy

SaveForMeNow respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how to report content that you believe infringes your copyright, and how users can respond.
1. How our tools work
Most SaveForMeNow file tools run entirely in the user's browser. Files processed with those tools are not uploaded to or stored on our servers, so we have no copy of them and no way to remove them.
The parts of the Site where material may be connected to our servers include:
- Short links created with our link shortener, which redirect to other websites; and
- Download from link (coming soon), which may process links to publicly available media.
Please bear this in mind when sending a notice. If the infringing material is hosted on another website, you'll usually get the fastest result by contacting that website's host directly.
2. Users' responsibilities
You may only use our tools with content that you own or have permission to use, or where your use is otherwise allowed by law. Don't use SaveForMeNow to copy, convert, download or share material in a way that infringes someone else's copyright. Using the Site to infringe copyright breaks our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Reporting infringement (DMCA notice)
If you believe that material available through the Site (for example, a short link) infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent with the following information, as required by the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512):
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine for email).
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The specific location of the material on our Site, such as the full short link (for example,
https://saveformenow.com/s/abc123), so we can find it. - Your contact details: name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on their behalf.
Send notices to:
Copyright Agent, SaveForMeNow
Email: info@saveformenow.com (subject line: "DMCA Notice")
Notices that are incomplete may delay our response. Please note that we may pass a copy of your notice, including your contact details, to the user who created the material, and we may share it with organisations that publish takedown notices, such as Lumen.
4. What we do when we receive a valid notice
When we receive a notice that meets the requirements above, we will act promptly to remove or disable access to the material identified, for example by disabling the short link. Where we reasonably can, we'll try to let the affected user know.
5. Counter-notice
If you believe material you created was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal (for example, the short link).
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which SaveForMeNow may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
Send counter-notices to info@saveformenow.com with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice".
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the person who sent the original notice. Unless that person tells us, within 10 to 14 business days, that they have filed a court action to restrain the alleged infringement, we may restore the material.
6. Repeat infringers
We may block access to the Site for users who repeatedly infringe copyright, and we may disable all short links linked to them.
7. False claims
Please make sure the material really does infringe your copyright before sending a notice, and consider whether the use might be fair use or otherwise permitted. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a false claim in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.
8. Trademarks and other issues
For trademark concerns or other rights issues not covered by copyright law, email info@saveformenow.com with details and we will review your request.
