Where are my notes saved?
Notes are saved in your browser's own storage on this device, a moment after you stop typing. Close the tab, restart the computer, and they're still here when you open this page again in the same browser. Nothing is sent to our server, so there's no account and nobody else can read them.
Because notes live in one browser, they don't sync to your other devices, and clearing your browser data or using a private window removes them. Download anything important as a .txt file. Each note's first line becomes its title in the list.

Questions
Are my notes private?
Yes. They're stored only in this browser on this device and never sent anywhere.
Will my notes still be here tomorrow?
Yes, in the same browser, unless you clear browsing data or use a private window. Download important notes to be safe.
Can I open my notes on my phone?
Notes don't sync between devices. Download a note and open the file on the other device, or copy and paste it.
Is there a size limit?
Browsers allow a few megabytes for each site, which is millions of characters.
