How do I post a photo on Instagram without it being cropped?

Instagram feed posts must be between 4:5 (portrait) and 1.91:1 (landscape), so wider or taller photos get cropped. This tool places your whole photo inside a 1080 × 1350 frame and fills the space around it with white or any colour you choose, so nothing is lost.
