How do I record my screen without installing anything?

Press Start recording and choose what to share: your whole screen, one window or a single browser tab. Tick Record my microphone to narrate, and Record sound from the tab to capture video or meeting audio (Chrome and Edge support this). Press Stop and save, or stop sharing from the browser's own bar, then download the video.

Recordings are made by your browser and stay on your device. Chrome, Edge and Safari save MP4; Firefox saves WebM, which you can turn into MP4 with one click. Phones and tablets don't allow websites to record the screen.

Microphone and tab or screen audio.

Guide

Questions

Is there a time limit or watermark?

No. Recording length is only limited by your computer's memory, and there's no watermark.

Why isn't the sound from my computer recorded?

Browsers can only capture audio from a tab, or the whole screen on Windows with Chrome or Edge. Tick the tab sound option and share a tab to record its audio.

Can I record on my phone?

Phones don't let websites record the screen. Use the built-in recorder in your phone's control centre or quick settings, then trim or compress the video here.

Where is my recording saved?

Only in this browser tab until you download it. Nothing is uploaded.
