How do I convert an Excel file to PDF?

Add an .xlsx or .csv file, tick the sheets you want, choose landscape or portrait, and convert. Each sheet becomes a table with borders, the first row can be shown as a bold header, and empty columns are left out. Wide sheets get smaller text so every column fits on the page, and long sheets carry on over as many pages as they need. Dates are shown as dates and numbers as Excel saved them.

Charts, pictures and cell colours aren't included, and formulas show their last calculated result. Older .xls files need to be saved as .xlsx first. Everything happens in your browser, so your documents are never uploaded.

How it works

  1. Add your spreadsheet

.xlsx from Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers, or a .csv file.

  2. Pick sheets and layout

Landscape suits wide sheets; tick the header row.

  3. Download the PDF

Print, share or attach it to an email.

Is Excel to PDF free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark and no limit on sheets.

Yes. Untick the sheets you don't need before converting.

Does it work with Google Sheets?

Yes. In Google Sheets choose File, Download, Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) or CSV, then add the file here.
