Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of saveformenow.com and all of its tools and features (the "Site"), run by SaveForMeNow ("we", "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. What we offer

SaveForMeNow offers free online tools to compress, resize, crop, convert and edit images, video and audio, plus design and information tools, a QR code generator and a link shortener. Most file tools run entirely in your browser, as described in our Privacy Policy.

The tools are free to use and don't require an account. We may add, change, limit or remove tools or features at any time, with or without notice.

2. Who can use the Site

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.

3. Your content

"Your content" means the files you process, the text you type into tools, the URLs you shorten or submit, and anything else you provide.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: don't use the Site for anything illegal, harmful or abusive, don't infringe other people's rights, and don't interfere with the Site.

5. Copyright

We respect intellectual property and expect our users to do the same. If you believe something linked to or made available through the Site infringes your copyright, please see our Copyright & DMCA Policy.

6. Our rights

The Site itself, including its design, code, text, logos and the name "SaveForMeNow", belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't give you any rights in them, other than the right to use the Site as intended. Open-source software used in the Site is covered by its own licence.

You may not copy, resell or offer the Site (or any substantial part of it) as your own service, or access it through automated means to extract content or provide a competing service, without our written permission.

7. Removing content and restricting access

We may, without notice and at our discretion, disable or delete short links or other content, and block or limit access to the Site, if we believe it breaks these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, may harm other people or us, or if the law requires it.

8. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the Site will be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that results will meet your needs, or that output files will be of any particular quality or size.

Processing files can occasionally change or lose quality, metadata or data. Always keep a copy of your original files. You use the tools at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, SaveForMeNow and its owners, operators and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, revenue, goodwill or business, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site, even if we were told such damages were possible.

Because the Site is free, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed USD 50 (fifty US dollars) or the smallest amount allowed by law, whichever is greater.

Some countries don't allow certain limits on liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.

10. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend and compensate us for any claims, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Site, or your breach of these Terms or of anyone else's rights.

11. Third-party websites

Short links, QR codes and other features can lead to websites we don't own or control. We aren't responsible for those websites or their content.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. By continuing to use the Site after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a part of these Terms straight away, that doesn't mean we give up our right to do so later. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Copyright & DMCA Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Site.
