Resize images
Change image dimensions by pixels or percentage, or pick a size made for Instagram, YouTube and more.
or drop files here · you can also paste with Ctrl+V
Your images never leave this device. Everything runs in your browser.
How do I resize an image?
Choose how to resize. Pixels sets an exact width, height or both; with Keep proportions on, the image fits inside the size you enter without being stretched. Percent scales the image, for example to 50%. Preset gives an exact size for places like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn, and crops or pads the image to fit.
Turn on "Don't enlarge smaller images" to leave images that are already small untouched. You can also change the format while resizing. You can add up to 50 files at a time, each up to 250 MB. Everything happens in your browser, so your files are never uploaded.
| You enter | Result |

- How to resize an image without stretching it
Resize images by pixels, percent or a ready-made preset without stretching them. What Keep proportions does, and how resizing changes file size.
Questions
How do I resize without stretching?
Keep Keep proportions switched on. The image then fits inside the width and height you enter and keeps its shape.
Does resizing reduce file size?
Yes. Halving the width and height leaves a quarter of the pixels, so the file usually gets much smaller.
Can I make an image bigger?
Yes, with Percent (up to 200%) or Pixels. For enlargements that stay crisp, use the image upscaler, which sharpens edges as it enlarges.
What's the difference between Fill & crop and Fit inside?
Fill & crop fills the whole preset size and trims the edges that don't fit. Fit inside keeps the whole image and fills the gaps with a colour or transparency.
