What is lorem ipsum?
Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin used as placeholder text since the 1500s. It looks like real writing, with a natural mix of short and long words, but nobody can read it, so people judge a design by its layout instead of its words. It comes from a passage of Cicero's De finibus bonorum et malorum, written in 45 BC.
