Compress a video for email

Shrink a video so it fits as an email attachment. The target is set to 25 MB, Gmail's attachment limit.

or drop files here · you can also paste with Ctrl+V

Your files never leave this device. Everything runs in your browser.

How do I make a video small enough to email?

Add your video and click Compress. The target is set to 25 MB, which is Gmail's limit for attachments. If your email service has a different limit, enter it in the options. For long videos, also choose 720p or 480p: fewer pixels keeps the picture clearer at a small size.

Videos are processed in your browser and never uploaded. Files up to about 120 MB work best. If a video is still too big to email, share it through a cloud storage link instead.

How it works

  1. Add your video

MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM and more.

  2. Compress for email

The 25 MB target is already set. Lower the resolution for long videos.

  3. Attach it

Download the MP4 and attach it to your email.

Questions

What's the video size limit for email?

Gmail allows 25 MB of attachments per message. Other services have their own limits, so check yours.

How long a video fits in 25 MB?

It depends on the resolution. Around 2–3 minutes at 720p usually fits with good quality; longer videos need a lower resolution.

Why does the video look blurry?

Too much video for the size. Choose a lower resolution, such as 480p, or trim the video first.
