Your images never leave this device. Everything runs in your browser.

What size should images be in an email?

Most email templates are 600 pixels wide, so images should be no wider than that. For sharp images on phones and Retina screens, save them at 1200 pixels and display them at 600. Keep each image small, ideally under 100–200 KB, so the email loads quickly and doesn't get clipped or flagged.

Use JPG for photos and PNG for logos and graphics with transparency. WebP and AVIF don't work in every email app, so this tool only saves JPG and PNG. Everything happens in your browser, so your images are never uploaded.

Questions

What's the best image width for email?

600 px is the standard email width. Use 1200 px images displayed at 600 px for sharpness on high-resolution screens.

How big should email images be in KB?

Under 100 KB each is ideal, and under 200 KB is fine. Keep the whole email under about 1 MB.

Can I use WebP images in email?

Not reliably. Some email apps, including older Outlook versions, don't show WebP. JPG and PNG work everywhere.

What size should an email signature logo be?

Around 300 px wide (shown at 150 px) and under 50 KB. Choose 300 px width and a 50 KB limit.
