Which LinkedIn links work
linkedin.com/posts/…linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:…
Tips
- The post must be visible without signing in to LinkedIn.
- Use the post's Copy link to post option to get the right link.
If your LinkedIn link doesn't work
- "Sign in to view". The post is only visible to connections or LinkedIn members. It needs to be public to work.
- Video is a YouTube link. Some posts just share a YouTube video. Those aren't supported here.
- Wrong link copied. Use the three-dot menu on the post and choose Copy link to post. Profile and company page links don't contain a video.
Saving on iPhone, Android or a computer
- iPhone and iPad. In the LinkedIn app, tap Share and Copy link, then paste it here in Safari. After tapping MP4, Safari keeps the file in Files, in the Downloads folder. Open it and use Share, then Save Video to add it to Photos.
- Android. Copy the link in the LinkedIn app, paste it here in Chrome and tap MP4. The file goes to the Downloads folder and shows up in your gallery or Files app.
- Windows, Mac and Linux. Copy the address from the browser bar or the post's share menu, paste it here and save the file. It lands in your usual Downloads folder.
MP4 or MP3: which to pick
Choose MP4 to keep the picture and sound. Higher resolutions look sharper but make bigger files; 720p is plenty for phones and chat apps. Choose MP3 when you only need the audio, such as a talk, a song or a podcast clip. MP3 files are much smaller and play on almost any device.
After you download
- Compress the video to make it smaller for WhatsApp, Discord or email.
- Trim the video to keep only the part you need.
- Turn it into a GIF for chats and slides.
- Convert it to WebM, MOV or another format.
- Extract the audio from an MP4 you already saved.
These tools run in your browser, so the video doesn't need to be uploaded again.

About LinkedIn downloads
LinkedIn videos, such as product demos, event talks and short tips, can't be saved from the app. Paste a public post link here to download the video as MP4, or keep just the talk as MP3.
LinkedIn serves native videos at up to 1080p, often 720p for phone uploads. The quality list shows what's stored for that post.
How it works
Copy the link
Open the post on LinkedIn and use Share, then Copy link.
Paste it here
Press "Get video" to see the title and the formats you can save.
Save the file
Pick MP4 or MP3. The file is ready in a few seconds.
Questions
Can I download LinkedIn Learning videos?
No. LinkedIn Learning courses are paid content and can't be downloaded here.
Can I download LinkedIn Live recordings?
Yes, after the event ends, if the recording is public and 30 minutes or shorter.
Does the poster see that I downloaded their video?
No. LinkedIn only shows views and reactions, not downloads.
Is this LinkedIn downloader free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no app to install and no watermark added to your file.
How do I download a LinkedIn video?
Copy the link of a public post on LinkedIn, paste it in the box above and press "Get video". Pick MP4 or MP3, then save the file.
Can I download private posts?
No. Only public posts work. Private, friends-only, paid and DRM-protected content can't be saved.
Do you keep my files?
Files are stored on our server only while you download them and are deleted automatically within one hour. We don't keep a history of links.
Is it legal to download videos?
Download only videos you made yourself or have permission to use. Most platforms' terms don't allow saving other people's content, and re-uploading it can break copyright law.
